From May through October, Ad Astra Farms grows fresh, seasonal produce for our neighbors across Prince George’s and Charles Counties. Our CSA gives you priority access to the harvest, flexible share options, and a real relationship with the farmers growing your food.

At Ad Astra Farms, our CSA is more than a weekly box of vegetables. It’s a partnership between our farm and your household — one built on trust, transparency, and a shared commitment to local food.
Instead of shopping week to week, you become part of the farm for the season and receive a portion of our harvest as it comes in.
Your membership helps us buy seed, plan crops, and invest in the season ahead. In return, you receive fresh, seasonal produce, first access to the harvest, and a direct connection to the people growing your food.
By joining our CSA, you share in both the rewards of abundance and the realities of farming. Some weeks are overflowing. Others are lighter. But every week reflects what’s growing in our fields right now.

We offer both eco-friendly drop-site pickup and home delivery throughout much of the DC Metro area.
Local Drop Site
Bring your own bag to pickup fresh from one of our community drop sites with a four-hour pickup window.
Home Delivery – $10/fee
Delivery is available within a 25-mile radius of zip code 20744 for a $10/delivery fee, including most of Prince George’s County, Northern Charles County, DC, and Alexandria.
If you live outside the radius, and are willing to host your porch, and can recruit 4 others to join, we can establish a drop site for you! Reach out with any questions.
While our harvests change with the seasons, each share includes 6–8 seasonal items per distribution. The exact contents change week to week based on what’s ready to harvest.
We'll text/email you each week before we harvest, and you'll have until that week's cutoff time (Wednesday at 5pm) to add extras to your order, or to notify us if you need to skip the week's share. We'll send you another reminder when it's time to pickup/your order's out for delivery.
And speaking of skip...
While we'd never advise skipping your veggies, we understand that life gets busy! Every week, you'll receive a text message/email alert when our harvest starts, with the option to “skip” by 5pm Wednesday to opt out of the week's order at no charge (full season members will receive a week's credit to use on their next order).
We use integrated pest management, no-till methods, hand cultivation, intercropping, and heirloom and non-GMO seeds. We do not use synthetic pesticides, fertilizers, or herbicides.
Yes. We proudly accept SNAP/EBT for both CSA memberships and market purchases. Please use promo code SNAP26 at checkout and select Cash/Check payment type.
Yes. Members may donate a CSA share through our Mutual Aid Program to support families in need.
